In the capital, there are killed due to a drone attack, with children among the injured.

Shelling of Kyiv: two people killed, seven injured, including four children, in a hostile Russian attack

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, and the Kyiv City Military Administration on social media.

Rescuers worked in the Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts. The aftermath of the attack was also recorded in the Holosiivskyi district.

Sviatoshynskyi District: Debris hit a 9-story residential building, causing fires in apartments on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. The fire was extinguished over an area of 100 square meters. Five people were rescued — 1 adult and 4 children (3 children with burns were hospitalized). Rescue operations are ongoing.

Solomianskyi District: Drone debris fell in an open area. According to the State Emergency Service, one person was injured in this district, with a preliminary diagnosis of concussion.

Dniprovskyi District: A drone hit a multi-story residential building, causing partial destruction of the ceiling on the 29th and 30th floors. No fire or injuries reported.

Shevchenkivskyi District: Drone debris hit a 5-story residential building, causing fires in apartments on the 3rd and 5th floors. The bodies of two people were found during firefighting. The fire was extinguished.

Holosiivskyi District: Debris from a downed enemy drone damaged the roof of an office business center. No fire reported. Information on damage and casualties is being clarified.

Later, Vitali Klitschko reported that the number of injured in Kyiv had increased.

“The number of injured in the capital has risen to 8. Another woman was hospitalized. Previously, three children were hospitalized. Thus, four people have been hospitalized so far. Four others received medical assistance on-site. Two residents of the capital were killed in the enemy attack,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration, it is confirmed that two people were killed and seven were injured.

Rescuers are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
