Search for people under rubble continues in Kyiv: Zelenskyy shares grim update
According to the President, people may still be trapped under the rubble, with ten still missing.

Search and rescue operations have been underway for over 24 hours at three sites struck by Russian forces in Kyiv the previous night. At least 30 people are confirmed dead and nearly a hundred wounded, with many still missing.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the details in an official statement.
«Rescuers have already managed to clear a significant portion of the rubble, but ten people still cannot be reached. The search operation will continue for as long as it takes,» the president said.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
Zelenskyy said that on July 2, Russian forces also struck a garage complex in Kryvyi Rih, injuring seven people. Residential buildings and two schools were also damaged in the city.
Later that night, the occupiers targeted a private home in the Kharkiv region, injuring six people, including three children. Furthermore, a drone strike on a high-rise residential building in the Sumy region killed four people, including a mother and her daughter.
Throughout the day on July 2, Russian forces also launched missile strikes on a regional hospital in Kherson, killing a doctor and injuring a nurse.
«Day and night, Russia strikes civilian infrastructure; terror is the only argument they have left to keep this war going. Reliable protection of the Ukrainian sky is a prerequisite for diplomacy. We count on the support of our partners, primarily with anti-ballistic missile systems,» the the president said.
