Night attack on Kyiv region: Details emerge on impacts in two districts

Despite air defense operations, consequences reported: fires erupted in Boryspil and Bucha districts.

As a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv region overnight into September 18, fires broke out in Boryspil and Bucha districts. Warehouses burned, while a private house and a car sustained damage.

Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk reported this.

Air defense forces were active during the enemy assault on the Kyiv region, with several hostile targets downed. No casualties or strikes on critical infrastructure occurred, though impacts were recorded in two districts.

In Boryspil district, rescuers contained a fire at warehouse premises.

In Bucha district, a non-residential building spanning 100 square meters burned. The fire has been extinguished. A private house and a passenger car were also damaged.

Emergency services continue to address and document the aftermath of the Russian attack.
