This night, Russia tested a new attack tactic on Kyiv — dynamic UAV flight.
Drones could change their direction and altitude, meaning they did not move statically at high altitudes, according to aviation expert Bohdan Dolintse, speaking on the «KYIV24» broadcast.
«They (the drones — ed.) were regularly gaining or losing altitude, and this could also be one of the factors that complicated the interception of these enemy targets, ” the expert explained.
This was likely one of the largest massive attacks targeting Kyiv in recent times, and due to the sheer number of UAVs simultaneously attacking the capital, some of them managed to breach the defenses, Dolintse believes.
