Explosions, fires, and destruction: Russia launches another massive attack on Kyiv

During the night of June 10, Kyiv experienced one of the most massive air attacks in recent times.

Russian invaders launched a large-scale assault on Kyiv overnight using attack drones, as well as cruise and ballistic missiles.

This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine.

According to the military, numerous UAVs approached the capital from various directions. The Kyiv City Military Administration reported the consequences of the attack across different districts of the capital:

Darnytskyi District:

  • Fire in a non-residential building

  • Damage to a residential building (without ignition)

  • Drone debris fell in a green zone

  • Partial destruction of non-residential structures

  • Damage to a garage cooperative

  • Fires at warehouse facilities and in a forested area

  • Fire in a residential building

Obolonskyi District:

  • Two floors of a residential building damaged

  • Fire in an office building

  • Debris fell in an open area

  • Destruction of a residential building

  • Fire at warehouse facilities

Holosiivskyi District:

  • Drone debris fell on the grounds of a non-residential building

  • Destruction at a business center

Desnianskyi District:

  • A car caught fire as a result of debris from a downed UAV

Shevchenkivskyi District:

  • Fire in a residential building

  • Damage to another building at a different address

  • Fire in a multi-story residential building

Podilskyi District:

  • Damage to non-residential premises

Solomianskyi District:

  • Drone debris fell on the roof of a multi-story building

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that at least two people were injured as a result of the attack: one was hospitalized in the Obolonskyi District, and the other received medical assistance on the spot in Darnytskyi.

All emergency services continue to work on eliminating the aftermath of the night attack.
