On the evening of July 3, during an attack by Russian strike drones, enemy drones were shot down in the skies above Kyiv.

Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko reported this.

During the announced air raid alert, the official warned of a threat to the capital from Russian drones.

«There is a possibility of an attack by enemy drones on the capital, ” he wrote.

Later, Tymur Tkachenko reported that one of the drones was shot down, with its debris falling on open terrain in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi District.

«Preliminary reports indicate no consequences, ” he noted.

Subsequently, information emerged that a fire broke out on the roof of a 16-story residential building in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi District during the drone attack.

According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, medics and city rescuers who responded to the call have so far found no casualties or damage to the building.

City authorities added that the Russian drone attack on the capital was still ongoing and urged Kyiv residents to remain in shelters.
